FEZANA Congratulates ZAMWI on Opening of Kamran Dar e Mehr

FEZANA, it’s executive and all its member associations congratulate the Zoroastrian Association of Metropolitan Washington on the momentous occasion of the opening of the Kamran Darbe Mehr in Boyds, Maryland.

It is indeed the culmination of a long journey for the Zarathustis in the Washington area, and the amazing building built by Mr. Kamran and gifted to ZAMWI and the local Zarathustis as their home; was a cause for celebration.

Two separate functions had to be held to accommodate the very large turnout.

FEZANA President Katayun Kapadia and Vice President Homi Gandhi were present and addressed the gathering. On behalf of FEZANA they congratulated Navroz Gandhi, President of ZAMWI and the entire ZAMWI Board and the local Zarathushtis who played a very big part in bringing this day to fruition.

Guided by the blessings of AHURA MAZDA and the teachings of our Prophet Zarathushtra; the Federation was founded in 1987 It serves as the coordinating body for 26 Zoroastrian Associations and 14 Corresponding Groups in the United States and Canada.
