FEZANA has allocated $40,000 in the approved budget for 2023 to provide financial incentives to those attending the 8WZYC in London UK.
ZYNA, a committee of FEZANA is also committed to encourage youth and young adults to participate at this event. The committee has allocated $10,000 from the YOUTH ENDOWMENT FUND (created after the 7WZYC2019).
ZYNA is planning to raise $10,000 in 2022-23 in an effort to help with the financial incentive.

$ 10,000 – YOUTH ENDOWMENT FUND
$ 10,000 – ZYNA’s Fundraising efforts in 2022-23.
ELIGIBILITY
- Must be registered for 8WZYC; proof of registration needed.
- Must be a current resident of USA or Canada.
- Member of a FEZANA Association for 2023. (Exemption if there is no local FEZANA Member association in a 100 mile radius)
- Complete the online application form.
- Upload and provide the required relevant documentation.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Eligible candidates to complete the online form on or before the due date.
- All entries to be checked for accuracy by the FEZANA Secretary.
- FEZANA executive to establish a group (adults + young adults) to review the applications and make recommendations.
- Recommendations submitted to FEZANA Congress Committee, FEZANA Exec and ZYNA Co-Chairs.
- FEZANA Treasurer to provide details for funds disbursement.
- Inform all applicants.
- Funds shall be sent to the local FEZANA Member Association for disbursement to the individuals.
FUNDS DISTRIBUTION
FEZANA executive, FEZANA Congress Committee Co-Chairs and ZYNA will determine the amounts given to the candidates.
Priority will be given to young adults who hold FEZANA Executive or Committee Chair/Co-Chair positions, young adults who hold ZYNA sub-committee positions. The allocation to cover registration costs will be given.
Final amounts will depend on the number of applications received by end of deadline.
