A presentation from the UN NGO Committee 12 March 2020
The FEZANA delegation was selected to present a workshop at the 64th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) conference to be held in March 2020 at the United Nations HQ in New York, USA.
However, the conference was cancelled due to the novel coronavirus 19 outbreak. As an alternative solution, the panel has recorded their presentation to share in wider civil society.
The recorded workshop, moderated by Sanaya Master, is titled “Empowering Women through Health, Education and Enhancement in the Workplace“.
For this presentation, FEZANA has collaborated with Pakistan-based NGO, Aahung, to advocate for women’s sexual and reproductive health and reduced violence against women; the Pakistan Business Council on the promotion of gender diversity in the workforce and UK-based ASHA Centre on the self-development, empowerment and facing life’s challenges, that brought in deserving young women from India, thanks to the Lila Poonawalla Foundation and Corporate Social Responsibility, support from Samena Capital.
