Virtual Annual Rad-Aid International Meeting – Registration open for November 2020

In August 2019, FEZANA partnered with RAD AID International (www.rad-aid.org) to present  a workshop and an exhibit at the 68th DGC – NGO United Nations Civil Society Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. [Fezana Journal, Winter 2019 issue- Humanitarian Activities Around the Globe]. 


The World Zarathushti Chamber of Commerce,  (www.wzcc.org), partnered  with FEZANA at the UN conference, with an insightful lecture by Global President, Edul Daver on  “A North-South- South model of sustainable development”.


A team of volunteers travelled  to Nepal in September 2019 under the leadership of DrCarlin Ridpath from Missouri, to help children born with club foot deformities, being cared for at the Hospital for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Children www.hrdcnepal.org.


A second visit led by Bahram Jam and his family from Toronto, Canada took place in January 2020 to teach physiotherapy, at the Hospital in Nepal.[Fezana Journal, Spring 2020 issue]

The exhibit from Salt Lake City, Utah, designed by PARTNERS ASIA, (www.partnersasia.org)  showcasing the work with disabled children, thanks to Eileen Moncoeur, a friend of FEZANA, has been shared with children at Zarathushti communities in Chicago,  Metropolitan Washington DC and New York.


The annual meeting of RAD AID International is held at the WHO/PAHO Headquarters in Washington DC on the first Saturday of November. This year, 2020, on account of the COVID 19 pandemic, the meeting will be held entirely in cyberspace…35 countries will be represented.  To learn about opportunities available to participate, registration is now open. To register: https://www.rad-aid.org/2020-rad-aid-conference/
