The 10th World Assembly of Religions for Peace (RFP) concluded on August 23, 2019 in Lindau, Bavaria, Germany. It took place (August 20-23, 2019) in partnership with the Foundation Peace Dialogue of the World Religions and Civil Society. Religions for Peace, headquartered in New York, is the world’s largest and most representative multi-religious coalition with “Inter-religious Councils” (IRCs) in over 100 countries.
Over 800 senior religious leaders, youth and women of faith from over 125 countries had participated in the Assembly on the theme of “Caring for our Common Future ̶ Advancing Shared Well-being”, joined by 100 representatives of governments, intergovernmental organizations and civil society groups to forge multi-stakeholder partnerships for the common good. Zoroastrian faith was represented by Mr. Jehangir Sarosh from United Kingdom, Ms. Meher Sidhwa, Faith in Action Youth Leader from India, and Homi D Gandhi, FEZANA President.
It was for the first time that the Assembly chose a lady, Azza Karam, as the new Secretary General of this world based Interfaith Organization. At the conclusion of the 10th World Assembly, RFP issued a Declaration and FEZANA President, Homi D Gandhi, was invited to read a part affirming the UN SDGs. Prior to that, at the RFP World Council meeting, the following Zoroastrian faith leaders were appointed on the RFP World Council:

- Vada Dasturji Khurshed Kaikobad Dastoor—Honorary President
