Your Excellency,
Federation of Zoroastrian Associations of North America (FEZANA) extends our deepest sympathy to the families of the victims of terrorism in Nice, France.
Another atrocity, this one again in France, tugs at our heartstrings. So many innocent victims, so many of them children, all cut down for a motive that is unknown yet, but no doubt can be characterized right away as warped.
When is it all going to stop? How many times a month must we continue to write sympathy messages? Have we lost valuing human life? What can we do to stop this madness? We absolutely must make sure not to become numb to these tragedies.
On behalf of the Zoroastrian communities in North America, FEZANA expresses its deep sorrow and frustration over this latest callous and cowardly act of destruction of human life. We join the French people in grief and solidarity.
As Zoroastrians, we practice an ancient faith founded on principles of righteousness, beneficence, and mutual respect. As a community and as individuals, our voices are always raised against nihilism and injustice.
Homi D. Gandhi
President
FEZANA
